Why & for what purpose Ballet?

EKATERINA MAXIMOVA
AND
VLADIMIR VASSILIEV
Four years ago, while surfing on the net I found the original photo of two famous great stars of dance, named above.
Looking this photo not once but a thousand of time it somehow inspired me not only to create the group of Ballet International on Facebook but thereafter the channel on YouTube and recently the new website.
I am not doing this for me, to look or be flashy or to get all the honours, I am not doing this with the intention to gain money, but to help the world of dance, help teachers, help choreographers, as well as ballet companies, dancers seeking jobs.
My wish would be the one that people get this idea clearly.
Flashy people who only think for themselves cannot be part of ballet International, but people who have a humble soul and mind yes they are mostly welcome.
Ballet as well as all other art forms is or are not easy especially to follow, to understand and to love in our modern world on what concerns the cultural aspect of it.
Many of us are brave in saying ballet is no more as before, but no one and probably me included haven't found the or a solution to bring all back as it was before.
Ballet has kept a certain beauty from then to present, but is this beauty, elegance, dignity, might remain in the future decades or all will disappear or stand only for commercial purposes?
Art, yes has to be twinned by finance but in my opinion in a reasonable way and not becoming the only leader of the art of ballet.
My wish is then to built in the future years this concept not for me, but to the world of ballet of a tomorrow.
My wish is also highlighting that governments of all countries should think and give more priority to the art of ballet instead of spending great funds into sophisticated weapons.
We all need art, but not wars, and art could generate more peace than atomic bombs.
The key of all would be to talk less, act wisely and more and building cultural programmes to implement the culture of art and performances.
Another thing of course, audience need to be educated as well in that way.
However mine is a tiny dream, wonder if it might be listened, and wonder if it could be realized in a far future.
My message is like a little gold coin in the middle of an immense ocean, wonder if someone will find it.
All the best of love to all from
Jean Pierre Alexandre Pribilois
